EnglishEspañol

serving my sentence

for looking at me so inside and for filling me with spoils
I have met a demon that does not look me in the eye
for having submitted for paying so much attention
I keep my promise and kiss on the mouth to failure

for wanting to make time impregnable fortress
I'm looking for a foundation in the past;
in the studyable,
for wanting to make every verse a world,
for looking at me so deep
for looking at what the seconds are all about

I am serving my sentence
and I will not let my sorrows kill me
I'm getting face down in my hole
To not remember all the people I love.

for looking at me so inward and for filling me with spoils

for looking at me so inward I have found myself
maintaining balance next to the edge of an abyss
dictating to my head an exercise of lyricism

and spitting bits of heart but to the beat
for saving my mental integrity within this madness
I've found myself looking for verses in a garbage can
For dreaming of light in a dark life in despair
for looking for a reason to live without going out of my way,

I am serving my sentence
and I will not let my sorrows kill me
I'm getting face down in my hole
To not remember all the people I love.

for looking at me so inward and for filling me with spoils

Today I don't drain the lump and my voice comes out of the tumult
and my presence is an insult to those ready for cults
marking the pulse of a speech about a hype and a box
Sanchez dredged would be straws for mastering language
in low hours I put verses in the bottom of my luggage
Now I put them together and I get poetry
And only God knows how alone I am
for looking at me so in
